Happy Children

A few months ago Jorge was taking care of 3 children in his family’s home in Dar es Saalam, Tanzania.!

His mother died. A supporter from Brazil asked George what he needed. Jorge said a bigger house to take care of more children. His 91-year-old Brazilian friend bought him a house and gave him some money. Now Jorge is taking care of 22 children. He is our role model.

Children become adults ...

Access to quality education during childhood is essential for fostering intellectual growth and preparing children for a brighter future. An enriched educational experience can empower Tanzanian children with the skills and knowledge needed to break the cycle of poverty and contribute meaningfully to society.

Moreover, a supportive and loving family environment is fundamental for emotional well-being. Positive interactions with caregivers and peers help children develop social skills, empathy, and resilience. Investing in the quality of childhood life also contributes to the overall health of the population by addressing issues such as malnutrition, access to clean water, and healthcare.

By prioritizing the quality of childhood experiences, Tanzania can ensure that its young generation grows up to be healthy, educated, and well-adjusted individuals, capable of driving positive change in their communities and the nation as a whole. Ultimately, a focus on childhood quality is an investment in the future prosperity and well-being of Tanzania.
